Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.4.1.1.5 - Identify the letter-sound learnt for the week in words related to the theme and write the letter and key word boldly and legibly in their books.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Say the letter sound for the week (Mm) correctly when shown the letter card.
Identify at least three words related to special places in the community that begin with the letter sound Mm (market, mosque, museum).
Trace and write the letter Mm boldly and legibly in their exercise books.
Write the key word “market” boldly and legibly under the letter Mm.
Point to the letter Mm when they see it in a word displayed on the word wall or big book.
