Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.4.1.1.7 - Create simple patterns with more than one shape, colour, size
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least three different shapes (circle, triangle, square) and three colours (red, blue, yellow) when shown by the teacher
- Describe the difference between big and small versions of the same shape
- Create a simple repeating pattern using two different shapes, such as circle, triangle, circle, triangle
- Create a simple repeating pattern using two different colours, such as red, blue, red, blue
- Create a pattern that changes by more than one attribute at a time, such as big red circle, small blue triangle, big red circle, small blue triangle
