Learning Objectives

Indicator: K1.4.3.1.3 - Sing traditional songs, play rattle and shakers, clap and dance on the correct rhythm.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Sing at least one familiar traditional song from their community together with the class.
Clap their hands on the correct rhythm while others sing.
Play a shaker or rattle on the correct rhythm, changing hands as directed by the teacher.
Dance or move their bodies to match the rhythm of the song being sung.
Talk about how they felt when playing the shaker, clapping, and dancing with their friends.
