Knowing the Special Leaders in My Community

Learning Objectives
Indicator: K1.4.3.1.5 - Role play the various leaders and what they do in the community.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least three special leaders in their community (e.g., traditional chief, queen mother, assemblyman, PTA chairman) when asked.
- Say one thing each of these leaders does to help the community.
- Act out the role of at least one leader using simple props, words, and actions during a group role play.
- Work together with friends in a small group to plan and perform a short scene showing leaders at a meeting.
- Show respect for the leaders they are role playing by using polite words and appropriate actions.
