Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.3.4.1.1 - Select and purchase suitable kitchen essentials to meet specific needs
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least four factors to consider when selecting and purchasing kitchen essentials.
- Explain how each factor (money available, space for storage, intended purpose/use, and availability of spare parts) affects the choice of a kitchen essential.
- Compare two different kitchen essentials for the same purpose and justify which one is more suitable based on the selection factors.
- Role-play a purchase scenario where they select a kitchen essential within a given budget and storage space.
- Prepare a simple shopping checklist for purchasing a kitchen essential, listing the factors they considered.
