Indicator: B5.4.6.3.1 - Lire et comprendre une lettre/une carte d’invitation

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read a simple invitation card in French and identify the type of occasion it announces (birthday, wedding, naming ceremony, etc.).
  2. Locate and state the date, time (start and end) and venue of the celebration from an invitation card.
  3. Answer comprehension questions in French about the details of an invitation card (occasion, time, place, organiser).
  4. Distinguish between information that is explicitly stated on a card and information that is not given.
  5. Use the vocabulary of invitation (occasion, célébration, heure, date, adresse) to talk about what they have read.
