Indicator: B4.4.6.2.1 - Inviter quelqu’un par téléphone

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and recite at least four French phrases used to invite someone by telephone (e.g. “Tu veux venir…?”, “Est-ce que tu es libre…?”, “Je t’invite à…”, “On peut se retrouver…?”).
Use the telephone greeting “Allô” and proper opening and closing expressions when making or receiving a phone call in French.
Role-play a short telephone conversation (3 to 4 exchanges) where one learner invites another to an activity and the other responds.
Replace key words in an invitation phrase to create new invitations for different events (birthday party, football match, market outing).
Recognise and use common time expressions with invitations: “samedi”, “dimanche”, “ce week-end”, “à 10 heures”, “demain”.
