Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.4.6.2.3 - Dire pourquoi on accepte ou on refuse une invitation et répondre à des questions simples
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least one reason for accepting an invitation using “J’accepte parce que…” or “Oui, je peux venir parce que…”
- State at least one reason for refusing an invitation using “Je suis désolé(e), je ne peux pas venir parce que…” or “Je regrette mais…”
- Respond correctly to simple yes/no questions about invitations, such as “Est-ce que tu peux venir à ma fête?”
- Distinguish between reasons for accepting and reasons for refusing an invitation in a short listening or speaking activity
- Use at least two different reasons (e.g., having a class, being sick, being free) in a role-play dialogue about invitations
