Indicator: B4.4.6.4.1 - Écrire une lettre ou carte d’invitation

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key parts of a French invitation card (greeting, reason, date, time, place, closing).
  2. Write a simple invitation card in French for a birthday party using the model structure provided.
  3. Use the phrases “Je t’invite à…” and “Viens à…” correctly in written sentences.
  4. Complete a short invitation card with missing information (date, time, place) using words from a word bank.
  5. Write a short invitation letter of 3 to 4 sentences for a beach outing or a cinema trip, building on the invitation phrases learned in earlier weeks.
