Indicator: B8.1.8.1.3 - Lire, comprendre et réagir à un texte simple dans lequel on invite quelqu’un, accepte ou refuse une invitation (Réception écrite / Compréhension des écrits)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a simple invitation text in French with acceptable pronunciation.
Identify and extract key information (who is invited, what event, when, where) from a short written invitation.
Distinguish between expressions of acceptance and refusal found in a written text.
React to a written invitation by answering comprehension questions in French, using phrases like “Oui, avec plaisir” or “Je regrette, je suis occupé(e)”.
Explain at least one cultural difference between how invitations are made in France and in Ghana, based on a short reading passage.
