Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.1.8.1.4 - Écrire à quelqu’un /échanger avec quelqu’un pour l’inviter accepter ou refuser une invitation (Production écrite et Interaction écrite)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Write a short invitation message (text message, WhatsApp message, or note) to invite a friend or family member to an event, using at least two phrases from the “Inviter” list.
Write an acceptance or refusal response to an invitation, using appropriate politeness phrases such as “Oui, avec plaisir” or “Je regrette, je suis occupé.”
Create a simple invitation card for a Ghanaian event (naming ceremony, birthday, church harvest, etc.) including the date, time, place and activity.
Exchange written messages with a partner to invite, accept or refuse, demonstrating correct spelling of key verbs (inviter, accepter, refuser, pouvoir, vouloir) and common leisure vocabulary.
