Indicator: B8.1.8.1.1 - Écouter, comprendre et réagir à une conversation / une présentation dans laquelle des gens acceptent ou refuse une invitation (Réception orale / Compréhension de l’oral)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the key expressions used to invite someone, accept an invitation, and refuse an invitation when they hear them in a spoken dialogue.
Listen to a short audio or teacher-read dialogue and determine whether the person being invited accepts or refuses, with reasons.
Distinguish between accepting and refusing expressions when heard rapidly in conversation, including tone of voice cues.
Respond appropriately (in French) to a spoken invitation, choosing the correct expression for acceptance or refusal based on what they hear.
Complete a listening discrimination exercise by identifying specific invitation-related words and phrases from a spoken passage.
