Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.2.1.1.1 - Demonstrate how to add pictures, insert a screenshot and screen clipping and print screen

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Locate and describe the picture, screenshot, and screen clipping tools in the Insert Ribbon of Microsoft Word.
  2. Insert a picture from a file or online source into a Word document.
  3. Capture the entire screen using the Print Screen (PrtSc) key and paste it into a Word document.
  4. Use the Screenshot tool to insert a window screenshot or a screen clipping of a selected portion of the screen.
  5. Produce a one-page Word document that combines text with at least one picture and one screenshot or screen clipping.
