Indicator: B9.2.1.1.2 - Demonstrate the use of SmartArt
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Locate the SmartArt button in the Illustrations group of the Insert ribbon on Microsoft Word.
- Identify and describe at least three SmartArt graphic categories (such as List, Process, and Cycle) and explain when each is most suitable.
- Insert a SmartArt graphic into a Word document and add text to its shapes.
- Modify a SmartArt graphic by adding or removing shapes and changing its colour or style.
- Explain a real-life situation where a SmartArt graphic communicates information more clearly than plain text.
