Indicator: B8.2.1.1.1 - Demonstrate how to create a table and hyperlinks

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the Tables group under the Insert tab in Microsoft Word and describe its purpose.
  2. Create a table by selecting rows and columns using the Table Grid.
  3. Resize table columns and rows using both the mouse and the Layout tools.
  4. Insert and modify a hyperlink that links text to another location.
  5. Use hyperlinks to create a simple non-linear presentation within a single Word document.
