Indicator: B7.2.2.1.1 - Explain the importance of presentation software

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define presentation software in their own words and give at least one example of where it is used.
  2. State at least four benefits of using presentation software over traditional methods like chalkboards or flip charts.
  3. Identify and name at least three common presentation software packages, including MS-PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote.
  4. Explain how presentation software helps a presenter organise information for a specific audience.
  5. Match an appropriate presentation software package to a given scenario (e.g. school project, business meeting, church announcement).
