Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.2.2.3

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Locate and explain the purpose of the Master Views group under the View ribbon in MS-PowerPoint.
  2. Use the Slide Master view to make a change (for example, adding a title or a picture) that appears on every slide at once.
  3. Apply a design template (theme) to a presentation and change it to suit the topic of their work.
  4. Prepare a 5-slide presentation on a given topic using the formatting tools studied in this and previous lessons, including text case, size, colour, alignment, indents, borders and shades.
  5. Deliver the 5-slide presentation to the class, moving from slide to slide and talking briefly about each slide.
