Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.2.2.1.2 - Demonstrate how to animate slides in a presentation

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain the difference between slide transitions and object animations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  2. Apply at least three different transition effects to slides in a presentation.
  3. Animate text and picture objects using entrance, emphasis, and exit animation effects.
  4. Set animation timing options such as duration, delay, and start trigger (on click or after previous).
  5. Create a seven-slide presentation that combines both transitions and animations, and present it to the class.
