Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.2.2.1.3 - Demonstrate how to add text to shapes and arrange shapes.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Select a shape and locate the Format Ribbon, identifying the Insert Shapes and Shape Styles groups and their functions.
- Add text to a shape using the Type Text or Edit Text option and format the text using the Font and Paragraph groups.
- Arrange shapes by changing their order (bring forward, send backward), aligning them, and distributing them evenly.
- Group shapes together so they move as one unit, and ungroup them when editing is required.
- Present a short slide containing arranged shapes with text to the class, explaining the steps used.
