Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.2.1.2 - Demonstrate the use of the Recycle Bin or Trash Can.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop and state its purpose in their own words.
- Delete a file or folder and locate the deleted item inside the Recycle Bin.
- View the contents of the Recycle Bin and describe the information shown for each deleted item.
- Distinguish between deleting a file (which sends it to the Recycle Bin) and permanently removing it (which they will cover in the next lesson).
- Explain why the Recycle Bin is useful as a safety net for accidentally deleted files.
