Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.2.1.8 - Demonstrate the use of the navigation Pane of the File Explorer to access different locations of the computer from the navigation pane.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the navigation pane in the File Explorer window and name its main sections (Quick Access, This PC, and the list of folders).
- Use the navigation pane to open different locations of the computer, such as the Desktop, Documents, Downloads, and local drives (C:, D:).
- Expand and collapse folders in the navigation pane using the arrow icons.
- Access files and folders in different locations by clicking on them in the navigation pane.
- Explain how the navigation pane is a faster way to move around the computer compared to opening folders one by one.
