Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.2.1.6 - Demonstrate understanding of the File Explorer window and locations of the computer through the file explorer.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the File Explorer icon and open the File Explorer window on a computer.
- Name the main parts of the File Explorer window (address bar, navigation pane, file list, search box).
- Use the File Explorer to navigate to common locations on the computer such as Desktop, Documents, Pictures and Downloads.
- Locate specific files and folders by browsing through the File Explorer with teacher guidance.
- Explain what a file location is and state the location (path) of a file shown in the address bar.
