Indicator: B5.1.2.1.3 - Describe how to Personalise the Desktop Background using advance tools and settings.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Describe the purpose of advanced personalisation tools and settings in MS-Windows for changing the Desktop Background.
  2. Identify the steps to access advanced settings for the Desktop Background (e.g., right-clicking the desktop, opening Settings, choosing Personalise).
  3. Demonstrate how to customise the Start Menu and the Notification Area using the Settings and Personalisation menu.
  4. Explain the difference between basic and advanced personalisation options (e.g., slideshow versus a single picture, fit options, and colour changes).
  5. Apply the advanced tools to personalise the desktop background, Start Menu, and Notification Area on a computer, or describe the steps clearly if no computer is available.
