Indicator: B5.1.2.1.3 - Describe how to Personalise the Desktop Background using advance tools and settings.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Describe the purpose of advanced personalisation tools and settings in MS-Windows for changing the Desktop Background.
- Identify the steps to access advanced settings for the Desktop Background (e.g., right-clicking the desktop, opening Settings, choosing Personalise).
- Demonstrate how to customise the Start Menu and the Notification Area using the Settings and Personalisation menu.
- Explain the difference between basic and advanced personalisation options (e.g., slideshow versus a single picture, fit options, and colour changes).
- Apply the advanced tools to personalise the desktop background, Start Menu, and Notification Area on a computer, or describe the steps clearly if no computer is available.
