Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.2.1.4 - Creating a short cut, adding or removing common icons on the desktop.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what a shortcut icon is and why it is useful on the desktop.
- Create a shortcut for a common program (such as Paint or WordPad) on the desktop.
- Add common icons such as This PC, Recycle Bin, or Control Panel to the desktop.
- Remove or hide icons from the desktop safely without deleting the actual program or file.
- Demonstrate the difference between a shortcut icon and the original program or file.
