Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.3.1.1.1 - Demonstrate how to use the File menu and Insert, Design, and Layout Ribbons from B5.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the File menu and the Insert, Design, and Layout Ribbons on the MS-PowerPoint interface.
  2. Demonstrate how to open the File menu to create, open, save, and print a presentation.
  3. Use the Insert Ribbon to add a new slide and insert pictures into a slide.
  4. Apply a theme to a presentation using the Design Ribbon.
  5. Change the layout of a slide using the Layout command in the Slides group.
