Indicator: B7.2.3.1.2 - Explore features of MS-Excel interface
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least five major features of the MS-Excel interface, including the ribbon, worksheet tabs, formula bar, name box, and cell grid.
- Locate the different parts of the Excel window when shown a labelled diagram or a live display.
- Demonstrate how to insert a row or column and select a cell, row, column, or an entire worksheet.
- Perform the operations of deleting and moving data within a worksheet using a sample data set.
- Explain the purpose of each major interface feature in their own words.
