Indicator: B7.2.3.2.3 - Demonstrate the use of the Autofill function in MS-Excel worksheet
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what the Autofill function is and when to use it in an Excel worksheet.
- Demonstrate how to use the fill handle to generate a series of numbers, including counting numbers and odd numbers.
- Demonstrate how to use Autofill to generate the days of the week and months of the year.
- Use the Autofill function to generate a multiplication table (e.g. the 3-times table).
- Identify the difference between copying a formula with Autofill and filling a simple data series.
