Lesson notes
Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.3.1.4 - Demonstrate how to use Align Text, Merge & Wrap, Borders and Shades
By the end of the lesson, learners can:

- merge two or more cells into one and split a merged cell back into separate cells.
- apply wrap text to a cell so that long text displays on multiple lines within the same cell.
- add borders and shading (fill colour) to cells or ranges to improve the appearance of a worksheet.
- explain why each formatting feature is useful for making a spreadsheet clearer and more organised, drawing on earlier lessons about the importance of spreadsheets.
