Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.3.2.2 - Demonstrate how to set up a header and a footer.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define what a header and a footer are in an electronic spreadsheet and state two differences between them.
- Identify the Header & Footer tools on the MS-Excel ribbon and navigate to the Page Setup dialog box.
- Insert a preset header (such as page number) and a preset footer (such as current date) into a worksheet.
- Customise a header or footer by typing their own text, such as their name or the school name, in the header or footer boxes.
- Use the Page Layout view to verify that the header and footer appear correctly on the printed page.
