By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the key features of a desktop publishing (DTP) program and explain how it differs from a regular word processor.
- Plan the layout of a one-page flyer or advertisement, including text boxes, images, and colour choices.
- Create a desktop published document (flyer, advertisement, invitation card, or business card) using available software, following a step-by-step process.
- Insert and position images and text boxes appropriately within the document.
- Present their completed document to the class and explain the design choices they made.
