Indicator: B5.5.1.3.1 - Describe databases.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- define a database in their own words using simple, everyday language.
- identify at least three features of a database (for example, tables, records and fields).
- pick out databases from a mixed list of everyday items and software.
- give at least two examples of databases they encounter in daily life in Ghana.
- describe the main purpose of a database (storing and organising information so it is easy to find and use).
