Indicator: B5.6.8.1.3 - Identify components of Internet of Things.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name the four main components of an Internet of Things system: hardware, data, software, and connectivity.
- Match each component to its function in an IoT system.
- Sort given items (e.g., a smart bulb, a sensor, a mobile app) into the correct component category.
- Describe, in their own words, how the four components work together in a simple IoT example, such as a farm moisture sensor or a smart home.
- Create a simple labelled drawing or diagram showing how the four components connect in one IoT example.
