Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.6.8.1.2 - Give examples of Internet of Things with a consumer part and an industrial/business segment.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Distinguish between consumer IoT and industrial/business IoT using simple examples.
  2. List at least three examples of consumer IoT devices commonly found in the home.
  3. List at least three examples of industrial or business IoT systems used in Ghanaian farms, factories, shops, or offices.
  4. Sort a given set of IoT examples into consumer and industrial/business categories with reasonable accuracy.
  5. Present one IoT example to the class, explaining who uses it and what it does.
