Indicator: B9.3.2.1.1 - Identify the advantages and risks in the use of social media platforms

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List at least five advantages of using social media platforms in their daily lives.
  2. Identify at least five risks or dangers associated with social media usage.
  3. Explain practical strategies for avoiding or minimising the risks of social media.
  4. Evaluate information encountered on social media for reliability and truthfulness before using or sharing it.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to distinguish between a credible source and an unreliable source on social media.
