Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.2.2.1.1 - Discuss the nature of exchanges among the ethnic groups.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least four forms of exchanges among ethnic groups in Ghana, including trade, inter-marriage, conflict, and alliances.
- Explain how trade between ethnic groups works, giving at least two examples of goods that were exchanged.
- Discuss at least two benefits that ethnic groups gained from exchanging goods, ideas, and marriage partners.
- Work in small groups to role-play or describe one form of exchange and state who benefited from it.
