Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.3.3.1.2 - Demonstrate ability to recognise abstract nouns in short passages about home, school and playground.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define an abstract noun in Arabic as a word that names an idea, feeling, emotion, or quality that cannot be seen or touched.
Identify and extract at least four abstract nouns from a short Arabic passage about the home (اَلْبَيْتُ), school (اَلْمَدْرَسَةُ), or playground (اَلْمَلْعَبُ).
Classify abstract nouns into three categories: those denoting emotions (مَشَاعِر), those denoting feelings (أَحَاسِيس), and those denoting qualities (صِفَات).
Distinguish abstract nouns from concrete nouns (names of people, animals, places, things) in a mixed list of words.
Use a given abstract noun correctly in a simple Arabic sentence about home, school, or playground life.
