Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.4.14.1.2 - Make a radio/TV presentations/performances

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key features of a radio or TV news presentation, such as greeting the audience, stating the news clearly, and signing off.
  2. Generate and plan ideas for a short news item based on a school or community event.
  3. Rehearse a short radio or TV presentation in a group, speaking clearly and with appropriate volume.
  4. Perform a short news presentation to the whole class, using simple sentences and proper sequencing (first, then, next, finally).
  5. Give and receive simple, kind feedback on a peer’s presentation.
