Indicator: B9.3.3.1.2 - Explain ten (10) information hacking techniques on the Internet environment.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define information hacking and distinguish it from legitimate computer use.
- Identify and explain ten specific hacking techniques used on the Internet environment.
- Describe how each hacking technique works and what it targets (passwords, data, devices, networks or services).
- Recognise warning signs or situations where each technique might be in use.
- Evaluate which techniques pose the greatest risk to personal data and suggest basic precautions for each.
