Indicator: B8.3.3.1.1 - Describe the nature of four major data threats (Interruption, Interception, Modification, Fabrication)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define each of the four major data threats (Interruption, Interception, Modification, and Fabrication) in their own words.
- Explain the difference between passive threats (where data remains unchanged) and active threats (where data is altered or stopped).
- Identify and describe at least two real-world examples for each of the four data threats.
- Classify given scenarios correctly as interruption, interception, modification, or fabrication.
- Discuss how these threats affect individuals and organisations in Ghana, showing awareness of the societal impact of compromised data security.
