Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.4.7.2.2 - Dire la profession ou le métier que l’on veut exercer dans l’avenir
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the French phrase “Je veux être…” (I want to be…) followed by a profession or trade name to express their future career aspiration.
- Use the phrase “J’aimerais être…” (I would like to be…) as an alternative polite form to express a future career wish.
- Replace the profession name in the model sentences with at least five different professions or trades learned in previous weeks.
- Ask a classmate “Quel métier veux-tu exercer?” (What job do you want to do?) and respond appropriately in a short dialogue.
- Present their chosen future profession to the class in one or two complete French sentences.
