Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.4.7.3.1 - Identifier et associer les noms de professions et métiers à leurs dessins
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read and pronounce correctly at least eight French names of professions and métiers (e.g. le médecin, le maçon, la couturière, le pêcheur).
- Match each written profession name to its corresponding drawing or picture when given a set of ten mixed images and labels.
- Write the correct profession name under a given drawing with at least 7 out of 10 correct answers.
- Explain in simple French or English what at least three professions involve, using phrases like “C’est une personne qui…” (It is a person who…).
- Sort profession names into two groups: masculine forms (le, un) and feminine forms (la, une).
