Indicator: B9.3.1.4.1 - Use passive forms appropriately in speech and in writing
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the subject, verb and object in given active sentences and state which element becomes the subject in the passive form.
- Transform active sentences in the simple present, simple past and present perfect tenses into passive sentences, keeping the tense unchanged.
- Construct a short opinion piece on a familiar topic that deliberately includes at least two passive sentences.
- Use passive sentences appropriately in a short spoken response, such as reporting news or describing a process.
