By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Distinguish between present tense (الفعل المضارع) and past tense (الفعل الماضي) verb forms for first person singular and plural.
Conjugate the verbs ذهب (to go), كتب (to write), نجح (to succeed), and جلس (to sit) in the present tense for first person singular (أنا) and plural (نحن).
Conjugate the same four verbs in the past tense for first person singular (أنا) and plural (نحن).
Use correct present and past tense verb forms in short, connected dialogues about daily routines and past activities.
Identify appropriate verb forms in context when reading or listening to simple Arabic sentences.
