Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.2.3.1.3 - Demonstrate knowledge of verb conjugation in simple connected dialogues which include the use of present tense for third person singular or plural, masculine or feminine.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the present tense verbs for third person singular and plural, both masculine and feminine, in simple Arabic sentences.
- Conjugate regular Arabic verbs (such as يذهب, يكتب, يلعب) in the present tense for third person masculine singular, feminine singular, masculine plural and feminine plural.
- Use the correct present tense verb form in short connected dialogues about daily activities of people they know.
- Distinguish between third person singular and plural verb endings in speech and writing.
- Produce two to three connected sentences describing what a person or group does regularly, using the appropriate third person present tense forms.
