Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.3.1.6.1 - Demonstrate command of question tags

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Form question tags correctly by matching the auxiliary verb and pronoun from the main statement.
  2. Use positive and negative question tags appropriately based on whether the main statement is positive or negative.
  3. Use correct intonation (rising or falling) when speaking question tags in short dialogues.
  4. Write 4 to 6 sentences containing question tags on everyday topics with accurate punctuation (comma before the tag, question mark at the end).
  5. Respond appropriately to question tags, confirming or denying information in natural conversation.
