By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the key features of a set of instructions for playing a game, including clear steps, sequence markers and action verbs.
- Analyse a sample set of game instructions to determine whether the steps are clear, complete and correctly ordered.
- Create an original set of instructions for a game they know well, using action verbs and sequence markers appropriately.
- Present their instructions orally to the class, speaking clearly and with enough detail for others to follow.
- Give and receive feedback on their peers’ instructions, suggesting improvements for clarity.
