Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.1.1.1.5 - Summarise the generation of computers (second generation of computers.)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least three key features of second generation computers, including their main electronic component and size.
  2. Compare first generation computers with second generation computers using at least two points of difference.
  3. Summarise the second generation of computers in their own words in a short paragraph of 3 to 5 sentences.
  4. Present their group summary of the second generation of computers to the class with confidence and clarity.
  5. Arrange given statements about computer generations in the correct chronological order from first to second generation.
