Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.1.1.2 - Identify components of a Computer System: Hardware, Software and Liveware.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define the three main components of a computer system: hardware, software and liveware, in their own words.
- Group common computer parts into hardware (input, output, storage and communication) and software categories.
- Give at least two examples of input, output, storage and communication hardware devices.
- Explain, at definition level, how hardware, software and liveware work together to make a computer function.
- Identify the liveware (people) in everyday computer use, including themselves in the school computer lab.
