Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.1.1.1.4 - Identify the left, right mouse button, holding of mouse, performing single, double and triple clicking and dragging object.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the left and right mouse buttons and demonstrate the correct way to hold a mouse.
  2. Perform a single click, double click and triple click on the correct mouse button and state what each click is used for.
  3. Drag an object across the screen and drop it into a folder or location using the click-and-hold technique.
  4. Demonstrate the sequence of steps for dragging a file or picture into a folder and explain each step in order.
  5. Use the dragging technique to move objects during a given activity on the computer.
