Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.3.3.LI.2 - Perform parts/full Acts and scenes.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Plan a performance of a chosen scene, assigning roles for characters, costume requirements and stage directions.
- Rehearse a scene cooperatively, applying vocal projection, facial expression and body movement to convey character.
- Perform a part or a full scene before an audience with confidence, clarity and appropriate emotion.
- Evaluate their own performance and the performances of others using specific dramatic criteria.
- Work democratically within a group, ensuring fair representation of different genders and social classes in casting and decision-making.
